PEACE OF MY MIND

While signing forms for a rental car up here in Calgary, I proceeded to waive all of the insurance fees. Interestingly, the last place to initial said:

I waive my peace of mind.

For some reason this doesn't seem legal to me. As a human I feel that I should not be forced to release my contentness. I guess this is some kind of waiver so that you don't sue if you're unhappy? Maybe there is more corruption up here in Canada than down in the "States".
