WELL...WHAT THE HELL IS NEW?

I'm feeling worn out. I'm feeling stressed. I'm feeling like I need a vacation. I do. I'm feeling a lot of things that I don't want to talk about to the world.

Do you think it's better to be omniscient or ignorant? I have a tough time deciding. I think I would like to be omniscient as possible right now, but it's probably not too good for sanity-sake. Act dumb.

I'm away from home yet again, but only 1.5 hours driving distance away. Still too far to sleep in my own bed. Not enough time to spend even a meal with friends. Not even coffee.

Why do people who know each other hate each other so much but keep a straight face at the same time? Why are people not genuine? People suck. People make me happy, yet they make me sad. That delicate balance.

I'm tired. I'm tired of a lot of things right now.

Sometimes it sucks to know and other times it sucks not to know. There is no better way. It's helpful, though, to keep a balanced view of the world.

Example: I often consider myself a misanthrope. In the larger world, life often seems to follow the words of Hobbes: Homo Homini Lupus ("Man is a wolf to man.") But then mankind has its brighter side and often redeems itself. The same often happens with individuals.

"Why do people who know each other hate each other so much but keep a straight face at the same time?"

Hmm.. because we're civil? Because we're angry but not THAT angry? Depends on the situation. Being constantly angry can darken one's soul so I, personally, feel that it's simply best to become nonchalant towards someone if I'm angry at them.

I'm not friends with anybody I hate "so much" (or even people I just don't like, for that matter). So my guess is if you hate each other that much, it's not a relationship worth salvaging. And if that's the case, isn't it better to keep a straight face? You remain civil for the sake of the people around you. We're not animals.

Damn. And nobody commented on my seduction style. Maybe I should get controversial in this blog more often. LOL
