HELLO MY NAME IS DEEPAK

Had to call Lexmark a couple of times today and was surprised at the variety of names their technical support staff have. Even though it's obvious that I'm speaking with friendly service personnel from India, they always have very American/Western sounding names.

Today it was Harrison, Dana, and Steven.

This makes me wonder. A lot of the time, when people visit foreign countries, and specifically the US, they modify their name so that it's easier to pronounce by those who live locally. I might compile a list with my name in different languages. Any suggestions? I've already heard "Bai-Ren" (Mandarin), and I really don't think that would fly. Serious names only...
