HIGH BULLET COST

So I was thinking of Rock's idea of raising the cost of bullets to $5,000 each in order to decrease the number of shootings. Here's what he stated in a stand-up routine:

"We don't need gun control. You know what we need? Bullet control. I think all bullets should cost $5,000. 'Cuz if a bullet cost $5,000, there would be no more innocent bystanders."

"Every time somebody gets shot, it'd be like, 'Dang, he must've done something. They put $50,000 worth of bullets in his head.' And people would think before they kill somebody: 'Man, I would blow your head off if I could afford it. I'm gonna get me a job, start saving, and you're a dead man.' "

Now the flaw in this idea is that criminals are entrepreneurs. Instead of spending $5,000 on a bullet, they could buy a bullet-making machine instead and crank them out in large volume.

What we really should do is sell random exploding bullets. So that way if you try to shoot someone (or something, I suppose), there is a slight chance that your hand will blow off. This might make some people think twice before committing a violent crime with a firearm.

In any case, it might just give you 2 attempts. Or 4 if you have skillz with your toes.
